The government was still not approved the new Syllabus for the +1 and +2. So, because of this the students are in confusion that which Syllabus will be followed from the coming educational year.

In Tamilnadu, the Syllabus for the school students will be changed for every five years.  The education department was preparing and releasing the new syllabus based on the aspects like employment and the latest information technology.

In Accordance to this the new syllabus for the +1 and +2 will be prepared. The new syllabus for the +1 should have to be released from this year and the new syllabus for the +2 need to be implemented from the next year. For this the Teacher education and training institute had formed a group of experts according to the subjects.

That group had prepared a draft syllabus on 25 Lesson Topics.  The draft syllabus was finalized by making necessary changes. These changes were made by getting advice from the educationalists, teachers and the people of different group. The new syllabus will be printed and distributed only after getting approval from the Tamilnadu government.

The school education department had sent the approval request to the government before the lok sabha election. But till now the approval was not given for the new syllabus. So, because of this the students and the teachers are in confusion that whether the new syllabus will be implemented or the old syllabus will remain.

The Education circle had informed that : The government had not made any announcement regarding the new syllabus for the +1 and +2.  Since there is no proper announcement from the government, it was expected that the old syllabus will continue for some more time.
