A Group has been formed by making the retired Judge as the Head; this group has been formed to fix the educational fees for the Self Financed Poly Technic Colleges. This information was released by the government on the High court.
Mr. Selvamani, the leader of the Administrative association of the Tamilnadu poly technic College had filed a petition that:
We can able to fix the fees for the polytechnic colleges, until the Fees fixing group was formed. No group was formed to fix the fees of the polytechnic colleges. From the year 2013, we are collecting 30 thousand rupees from the students.
In the September 2012, the Scheduled caste welfare association had released an order. They had fixed the fees of Rs.6, 500 for the SC/ST students those who are joining under the government quota and Rs. 21, 700 for SC/ST Students those who are joining under the Management quota. They court has release the order that this will not be suitable for us.
30 thousand rupees should be given to us for each student, until the Fees fixing group was formed. All this was mentioned in the petition.
This petition had come for investigation before the Judge Ramasubramanian, The judge Rama Subramanian had made a question that Why the Fees Fixing group should not to be formed? He had also ordered the Government to reply for this.
The additional Pilidar Sanjay Gandhi had filed a petition in this case on behalf of the Government:
A Group has been formed by making the retired judge N.V Balasubramanian as the Leader. This group has been formed to fix the fees for the Self financed poly technic colleges, Hotel management and catering technology colleges. We are not able to give the 30 thousand rupees mentioned by the petitioner. In future we will give the fees fixed by the group. This was mentioned in the replied petition
