What is an IAS Job?
A Government is Like a Foundation. The Government Employees are the Administrators of this Foundation. A Scholar had Told that both these should act for the People Benefit.
Indias Highest Administrative service officer is called as IAS officer. In the British Period it was called as ICS (Indian Civil Service) Then after the India gets the independence it was Changed to IAS (Indian Administrative Service).
These IAS Officers are working as the Chief Administrative officers in the Central and State Government offices. In Short we can Tell that these officers Plays a Major in Operating the Government Sectors.
A Government is Different and the Government Sectors are different because the Persons who are ruling the Government will keep on the changing but the Government Sectors will never Change .It Will always Function Constantly. The Government Sector is one Which Implements the decisions taken by the Ministry.
An IAS Officer can be appointed in both Central Government and State Government offices.
According to the Union Public Service Commission an IAS officer can be appointed in Central Government Sector and Also the IAS officer will be appointed in any one of the States in INDIA.
According to INDIA an IAS officer was Considered one of the Respectable Person in the Soceity. Around 60% of the students has the AIM of the becoming an IAS Officer. Even Though many the Students do not know much about this Field they want to become an IAS officer.
The Indian Foreign Service is the Position Which is considered to be same as the IAS .But the IFS will not have any Involvement in the Internal Affairs.According to the Internal Affairs IAS Play a Big Role.
When Internal Affairs is considered after the IAS position Only the IPS (Indian Police Service) and the IFS (Indian Foreign Service) Positions are Taking an important Part.
