TRB is the teacher recruitment board of tamilnadu, it is created by the state government for filling lecturer job vacancies by conducting recruitments. All the operations of trb is directly under the control of school education department of the state. It conducts recruitments for appointing staffs in government schools and colleges.
Recently TRB has released the advertisement for 139 assistant professor jobs in engineering colleges and going to invite application from interested and eligible candidates .

- Age of candidates who are applying for this post will not be above 35 years, this age limit is common for both engineering and non engineering posts
- For engineering subjects candidates need B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree, else if a candidate wish to apply for non engineering subjects then he need a PG degree in relevant stream along with this he must get qualified in any lecturer eligibility test such as NET, SET,etc.

How to apply:
From august 20, 2014 application forms will be available in chief education office of all 32 districts in the state. By paying 100rs candidates can get application forms with prospectus. Filled application forms must be submitted in the same CEO office of your district within deadline and candidates don’t need to send any application forms to TRB by posts. You will get a acknowledgement form after submitting application. To attend the TRB recruitment exam candidates need to pay 600 rs for examination fees, for SC/ST candidates it is 300rs. For this you will get a challan with prospectus, using challan you can pay fees at any state bank of india (SBI) or Indian overseas Bank (IOB) branches. Paying fees in any other ways will not be accepted.
