Tamil Nadu government conducts a separate counselling for the students who desire to pursue B. Arch. A separate exam called NATA is conducted for the students to pursue architecture. The ranking of the students who desire to appear in the counselling is based on the mark scored by the students in the NATA 2014 examination conducted by the council of architecture.

Due to the delay in TNEA general engineering counselling B.Arch rank list was not published yet. However both the Rank list and counselling dates for TNEA B.Arch will be intimated soon.
The desired candidate must have passed the NATA exam and the mark sheet should be submitted along with the application. The marks is calculated and the rank list is prepared. The overall rank list is prepared and the community wise rank list is also prepared. The overall rank list and the community wise rank list is prepared and published on the official website of Anna University.
Candidates who apply for the special reservation category are also ranked under this list. The candidates will be called to the counselling in the order of merit which the have secured in the NATA exam. Initially the candidates must pay a deposit of about Rs 5000 and if the fall under the SC or ST category of Tamil Nadu they have to pay an amount of 1000 and produce their original certificates at the time of counselling.
The duration of this B.Arch programme is scheduled to comprise 10 semesters and the students who desire to apply for the architecture course must clear all the ten semesters. this Architecture course is demanded by many students nowadays. The general criterion is they should clear the NATA exam conducted by the board of architectures. This is the first and foremost eligibility to appear in the counselling conducted by the Tamil Nadu government.
