special trb tet exam for differently abled candidates

The Tamilnadu government released an order here on Tuesday (dec 17) to conduct a special teachers selection exam for differently abled candidates. It is also been specified in that order that a sum of rs.2 crore has been allotted as funding for training candidates who are unable to see and also for their scribes.
Earlier, many differently abled people staged protests demanding a special teachers selection exam to be conducted for them and various other rights.
Hence, a special meet was conducted on september 30 lead by Honorable Chief Minister J Jayalalitha and her panel of ministers to go through all their demands.
Therefore, this new order for a special teachers training exam to be conducted for them and also fulfilling their various other demands.
The order released to the media by the Secretary of School Educatiion Miss.T.Sabitha is as follows :
A special selection exam will be conducted for differently abled candidates especially for non-employed B.ed graduates to facilitate easy job placements for them, The Teachers’ Selection Board announced earlier.
B.ed graduates who qualify in this exam, will be allotted in empty work places that are yet to be filled and also in portals that will open in the upcoming days.
Applicants who lack the ability to see and the scribes assigned to help them write their exam will be given special training in all 32 districts through their respective District Teacher Training Institute.
The first 200 qualifiers from the Masters’ Degree Teachers’ Selection examination will be placed in empty work portals that are yet to be filled and those portals that will open up in the following years complying to all rules and regulations. Teachers Selection Committee will take necessary measures to appoint the first 100 candidates who qualify through online examination as assistant professors.
Candidates who have applied for this exam and lack the ability of vision will be given special training along with their scribes through the respective Teachers Training Institute in 50 centers in all 32 districts and a total sum of rs. 4 cores is alloted ( rs.2 lakh per institution) for this training.
Welcome : This Government order is hugely received by Tamilnadu Differently Abled Protection and Welfare Association. Hence, the secretary of this association, Mr.S.Namburajan has requested the Teachers’ Training Association of Tamilnadu to conduct this exam as soon as possible to facilitate these people.
