Tamilnadu NTSE exam postponed due to rain

NTSE exam which is planned to be held on 17/16/2013 has been postponed due to heavy rain, DGE officially notified this on their website.

National talent search exam is shortly called as NTSE which is being conducted for school students to give scholarships.  Students who score good marks in NTSE exam will get scholarship amount of 500rs every month. So more number of students registered for this exam . Bad weather due to cyclone made the DGE to change the scheduled date.

Deferred exam will be conducted on 24/11/2013

So now students has got one more week time to prepare well for exam, postponed exam will be held on 24/11/2013 (sunday).

Instruction for students who are going to undertake this exam on November 24:

DGE advised the students to use only black or blue ball point pen to mark the correct answer, NTSE exam have objective type questions with four answers, among them students have to select the right answer.

Time duration: 3 hours

About 250 students will be short listed from this exam for scholarship.

    my Son had started for the exams at 7.30 am in the morning in the heavy rains to reach hthe exam centre on time by Local trains.
    At the centre affter one standing in heavy rains The security gaurd told him the exam iscancelled . NO officials teachers or the people conducting exams were available to give information about the timings of further postments. he wsa standing in the rains and asking for information here and there. At least Information should Be displayed on the notice board for the students who do not have immediate access to internet,( The Cybercafe centres were also closed due to haevy rains)
